Hashmarks are small lines parallel to the sidelines. THE POSITIONS There are several different positions you can play and each calls for different abilities. For example, the wide receiver (offense)might be the individual who is smaller and fleeter of foot. Whereas, a tight end needs to be bigger to make blocks. A linebacker is usually large so he can stop the run but he must also be quick and agile enough to drop back against passes. WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL I NEED?
